What are the changes in NCE
If you use Office 365 or Microsoft 365 subscriptions in your business
- Beginning 1st of March 2022, the only option available to purchase Microsoft 365 or Office 365 will be the new commerce experience (NCE).
- The conversion to the new commerce experience will take place on your subscription renewal date.
- Microsoft has announced that monthly subscriptions will increase 20% For Microsoft 365 Business Basic and Microsoft 365 Business Standard on March 1st 2022
- Microsoft will offer a 1 year and a 3 year commitment plan
- These plans can be paid for upfront in full or on a monthly plan.
- These plans cannot be canceled for any refund after 24 hrs or 72 hrs prorated. If paid on a monthly plan you are still obligated for the entire 1 or 3 year term.
- This is extremly important if your business uses seasonal employees because you can’t cancel licenses
- Microsoft will offer a 1 year and a 3 year commitment plan
- You cannot downgrade a license during the term (for example from a Business Standard to a Business Basic account)
